Welcome to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Sonargaon University (SU). The Mechanical Department stands as the largest at the university, boasting approximately fifty highly qualified and experienced permanent faculty members, all from renowned public universities. Our journey began in 2013, and over the past eight years, we have honed our expertise and competence in the curriculum and research of mechanical engineering.

Our primary objective is to deliver quality education in both theory and practice to undergraduate students, fortifying their foundational knowledge. Several faculty members are currently on study leave in various countries, pursuing higher education and enhancing the department’s richness upon their return.
